The Classic 2025

Another fun weekend at the NESBTC The Classic weekend is over. This club puts on a wonderful event and if you have yet to attend put it on your calendar for next Fall. Be sure to pack for all four seasons! Its always a mix of extreme heat, humidity, wind and rain but as Stafford people nobody minds. The judging is always fun and offers a nice variety. The camaraderie is usually good as well is the fun banquet and raffles/auction. The host hotel is very comfortable and convenient to the show.

This year we were excited that we had a father and son team entered: BISS CH Variant’s Cannonball Run (Colton) owner with Tom Jacob and of course we brought NBISS MBISS GCHG CH Wavemaker Nonesuch TT DN CGCA CGCU TKN VHMA VSWB FITG CHIC (Felix).

On Thursday Felix warmed up from his time away from the ring at the very small (only 7 showed up) all-breed show and was Best of Breed and made the cut in the Terrier group.

Friday show #1 (Supported) under Fred Jones Colton was Select Dog and Felix was 1st Award of Merit.

Friday Show #2 (NESBTC Specialty) under Kerry Williams Felix made the cut.

Saturday (Supported) under Simon Thomas Felix made the cut.

Sunday (Supported) under Dave Manito Felix was Best of Opposite Sex.

It was a fun weekend with the highlight watching Kelly and her BBE girl New CH Ballyhoo BbokAri (Pixie) earn her title in spectacular fashion with WB/BOW/BOS on Saturday and WB/BOW/BOB on Sunday!
